Regular conference calls and follow up visits are conducted to maintain dialogue. It is extremely important to understand any shifts in strategy or risk, to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
Many manager selectors find it difficult to de-select a beloved manager. This dilemma is avoided by creating exit rules to which we adhere in a disciplined fashion. In cases of unfavourable changes in performance, risk or strategy, we not hesitate to de-select a manager.
