The selected managers need to be combined within a portfolio. Each manager has a role to play in the portfolio, while complementing other selected managers. In order to test the portfolio characteristics against its objectives, we analyse the combined underlying holdings across all managers. In this manner we can identify if there is any duplication of style or risk.
