The actions of stock markets since March 2000 have reminded investors around the world that investment values can fall significantly and that even over longer periods stock markets can generate negative investment returns.
 
Our investment philosophy emphasises the preservation of capital. We recognise that private clients not only seek superior investment returns, but more importantly seek to maintain their capital from year to year.  For this reason, the evaluation and the management of risk associated with the different investment options are of the utmost importance. This approach has enabled us to limit the impact of the stock market downturn on our individual client portfolios.
